Citing two sources, CSN Philly's Reuben Frank reports that owner Jeffrey Lurie has informed Andy Reid he's out as Eagles head coach.
Per Frank, Lurie informed Reid he's "going in a different direction." The Eagles will likely make the news official on "Black Monday," the Monday following Week 17. (Tomorrow.) Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Reid was informed of his imminent firing during a Friday meeting. The club strongly disputed Rapoport's report, but it's obviously true. The Eagles finished the 2012 season 4-12, capped off by a 42-7 blowout loss to the Giants in Week 17.
