Cowboys agreed to terms with LB Justin Durant, formerly of the Lions, on a two-year contract.
Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the deal won't become official until the Cowboys can clear some more cap space. Recent estimates have had Big D barely $100,000 below the cap. Coming off a 103-tackle campaign for the Lions, Durant will book-end Bruce Carter on the outside, leaving Sean Lee to man the middle. Durant graded out as Pro Football Focus' No. 18 4-3 outside linebacker last season. It's a cost-efficient, if low-impact signing for the cap-strapped Cowboys.
