Steelers RT Mike Adams suffered stab wounds resulting from an attempted carjacking Saturday morning.
Adams was stabbed in the stomach during an attempt to steal his truck by three assailants. The right tackle managed to escape without having any major organs hit, and is resting in the hospital. He came out of surgery this morning. GM Kevin Colbert has passed along word Adams will make a full recovery. Adams' agent, Eric Metz, said his client is expected to be out for six weeks, but will be ready for the start of training camp.
