Cardinals signed DE/OLB John Abraham, formerly of the Falcons, to a two-year, $6 million contract.
Abraham, 35, visited the Cardinals Wednesday, and they had a contract offer out to him later that night. Since earning an injury-prone label with the Jets early in his career, Abraham has missed just two games over the last six seasons. He's also the NFL's active leader in sacks (122). Abraham easily becomes the Cardinals' top edge rusher, and his addition may be the final nail in the coffin of OLB O'Brien Schofield. The Cards may limit his snaps a bit, but Abraham will be on the field for every key pass-rushing situation.
