Sam Bradford indeed suffered a torn left ACL in the Rams' Week 7 loss to Carolina.
He'll likely be placed on injured reserve early this week, ending Bradford's season. The Rams are going to have to think long and hard about using an early-round draft pick on a quarterback in next May's draft with Bradford coming off a torn ACL and no lock to be back with the organization in 2014. He's owed a $14.015 million base salary, none of which is guaranteed. Kellen Clemens figures to be the Rams' Week 8 starting quarterback. It's a huge downgrade for St. Louis' pass catchers. Look for heavy doses of Zac Stacy the rest of the way.
