To my fellow forum members,
Congratulations are in order for the Seattle Seahawks. I've been extremely vocal in my regards to the quarterbacks of 2012! Last nights game proves this theory.
As for the Denver Broncos, it is absolutely shameful and foolish for their attempt last night or lack of there of. I did predict that if Russell Wilson makes mistakes like he did in the Divisional Championship game, the Broncos will take advantage of that and will win. That was not the case!
From the start of the first missed snap all the way to the last Broncos possession, it was a Broncos debacle. To utilize one word to describe the Denver Broncos last night, failure comes to mind. I can think of another f word but, this is a family orientated site. I feel as if Peyton was possessed by Eli. He definitely played like it. As much as I place high regards and absolute respect for a legendary quarterback in Manning, you just can't make that many mistakes as such and expect to win the Super Bowl. In the end, the halftime show was the only part of last nights game that was fun to watch.
I stopped watching the game by the end of third quarter. It was as if the game was played with the mentality of a scrimmage or dare I say a Pro Bowl. The Seahawks had no challenges it was as if the Denver Broncos had given up and did not want to win the game. Many of Denver Broncos players looked as if they just wanted to get the game over with and go home. Mrs. Toshi and I left the game on only as background noise while Mrs. Toshi played her computer games and I updated my card collection info.
I will put the 2013 year, finally behind me, and will hope for a better year in the up and coming NFL season. Most importantly is the fact that our 2014 hobby boxes and singles will have better players and a better return on investment from our purchases. At least that's what I hope for. Until then we can hope for a better year.
