    Raiders re-up Charles Woodson on 1-year deal

    Raiders re-signed FS Charles Woodson to a one-year contract.
    37-year-old Woodson was an effective every-down safety in 2013, recording 97 tackles, one interception and three forced fumbles. Woodson is obviously on the tail end of his career, but he has shown few signs of slowing down and should continue to provide a steady, veteran presence in the Oakland secondary.

      As a Packer fan I was sad to see this happen. Was still holding out hope that TT would make a smart move, sign Chuck to work with the young safeties, and solidify his HOF entrance as a Packer. Now I'm not so sure he will go in as a Packer, and our secondary still has serious holes. Best of luck Chuck!
