Report: Andre Johnson to skip mandatory camp

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Andre Johnson is unlikely to attend the Texans' upcoming mandatory minicamp.
If Johnson truly wants out of Houston, skipping mandatory sessions would make a loud statement. RapSheet reports Johnson recently expressed his frustration "privately" to the Texans, though "conversations between Johnson and the team have been positive." Ultimately, he has almost no leverage. Johnson is signed through 2016 and is owed $6.5 million this season. It's hard to see the Texans trading him and getting stuck with $11.96 million in dead money against the 2014 cap.

They could trade him if a team offered enough. The local radio said that it would save them 1 M in salary space. I think it is all talk, he did this back in 2009 also. I don't blame him though, they didn't do jack squat to get him a good QB.
