1990 Action Packed Silver??

I'm sure you all think I know all things Michael Irvin cards... but this one stumped me. Looking through my Irvin dupes to send to a fellow Irvin collector I found this. At first I though it was just faded to the point it looked silver, but entire border (front and back) is silver instead of gold like the normal one. I looked on Beckett thinking I missed it, only one AP '90 Irvin listed. Looked on eBay under "1990 Action Packed Silver"... nothing. I'm sure if I spent a day researching I could find it but with all the knowledge here I thought I'd ask you guys. Anyone got a clue what this card is? Anyone else have any '90 Action Packed Silver Border cards?

i'll go back through mine & see if I have any. maybe the silver one is from a team set or something?

EDIT: found this in the beckett set description section. maybe the silver is the test proof?

This 280-card standard-size set was issued in two skip-numbered series. The cards are the same style as previous year's "test" issue. The set is organized numerically in alphabetical order within team and teams themselves are in alphabetical order by city. For cards numbered 3, 26, 193 and 222, the action note on the card back does not correspond with the picture on the front.

hmm... that's confusing to say the least. I found the '89 "test" set but they look gold to me also.

I still have a couple of early 2000s Beckett and Krause annuals on the shelf. Looking for these cards I didn't see anything listed for a silver variant or parallel.

Will keep my eyes open...
