Chargers C Nick Hardwick has retired from football.
A third-round pick in the 2004 draft, Hardwick went on to start 136 games for the Bolts, earning one Pro Bowl berth. He was placed on injured reserve with a neck ailment early last season. The Chargers need to overhaul their offensive line this offseason after it took a huge step back in 2014.
