ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Cardinals and Larry Fitzgerald are "closing in on" a new multi-year contract.
It will reportedly allow Fitzgerald to finish his career in the desert, but more importantly knock his massive $23.6 million cap hit down considerably. Getting Fitzgerald figured out was Arizona's top priority of the offseason and it needed to be done before the start of the new league year on March 10. Fitzgerald will turn 32 before next season and is coming off one of his worst statistical years.
