Swearinger is known more for his borderline hits than overall effectiveness, but is a playmaker capable of setting a fierce tone. He upgrades what was one of the worst secondaries in the league last season. Swearinger will compete with Bradley McDougald at strong safety, but has a legit chance at earning a starting job.
