  • Job Interview Thursday!

Not the most exciting job opportunity....but I am a people person and enjoy the face-to-face....so going into Radio Shack on Thursday to do an interview.

Just hoping it's NOT a holiday only job.

....and it beats unemployment! Keep your fingers crossed....I NEED this!

I worked for Radio Shack in 1993-1994 while I was in College. I hired in as Holiday help but did well enough that they decided to keep me. I will tell you this, the higher the traffic of the store, the better you will do. Also, sell the extended warrantees like theres no tomorrow. They used to give the salesman 10% of the warrantee price. I.E. 129.99 for a computer paid 13 bucks!! Lastly, as a career choice if you work your way up, some of the managers in my area were making 60 thousand per year in 1994 plus they had a stock purchase program. I wish you all the best and hopefully this will turn into a permenant / lucrative oppertunity for you. Dave

Edit: Didnt realize this post was really, really old. Did it work out for you?
I collect a little bit of everything. But, if I never get back to you, your probably on Ignore!!
