  • Steve Carell's Goodbye to 'The Office'

Michael Scott's last appearance on "The Office" has been confirmed.

    Associated Press report:
NEW YORK – NBC is confirming April 28 as the date for Steve Carell's final appearance on "The Office." His farewell episode on the popular comedy will be supersized, the network announced Monday.
That night's long good-bye will air from 9 to 9:50 p.m. Eastern time, followed by an extended version of "Parks and Recreation" that concludes at 10:30 p.m. Eastern, NBC said.
Carell, who plays inept branch manager Michael Scott, announced last year that this would be his last season on the series, which premiered in 2005. NBC has made no announcement about who might fill the gap in the cast.
Meet Deanglo (Will Ferrell) who will be replacing Michael Scott (Steve Carell) for now.

I'm sorry, but The Office will never be the same without Steve Carrell. R.I.P. Michael Scott, and R.I.P. The Office.

One of the great all time TV Characters. When he was at his best was one of the funniest guys on TV ever. When he was being serious, had his great moments. Will never forget when Jim and him were on the boat and Jim said that Pam was engaged and he couldn't go after her. Michael said "BFD. Engaged ain't married." Really a great character.
