several pic ups probably in the last week picked up two collections 1 had about 230,000 and the other about 150,000 and got some nice vintage from them and have been putting some sets together from the base as well so not to bad u still been getting sexys ive seen from the opther site

disagree. not like other division winners won't have a candidate on their resepective team.. Right now for me in the AL it is not even close

1-Joey Bats by far (anytime a guy is in the triple crown running no matter if we all know he won't get it he is the leader)
2-Adrian Gonzalez ( now that I get to see him all the time cat is amazing)
then who knows... the rest come into play

I agree, other division canidates will be up there. Lets go by the philosphy that ONLY playoff teams have the MVP in 2011. Its a fact, its the reason Cabrera didnt win the award last year despite being more deserving (in my opinion)

If we go by only playoff teams win (and for the sake of the arguement here, I'm using the Tigers/Indians just because I can't say the Tigers defintly win the division)

If the standings end up like this

AL West- Texas
AL Central- Detroit
AL East- New York/Boston
Wildcard- New York/Boston

Bautista is putting up monster numbers, but if his team finishes in 4th place, nobody is gonna give the guy the MVP (see what happened to Cabrera last year, of course his numbers are on pace to be better, but the theory is still the same)

Rangers canidate at this point would be Adrian Beltre
Tigers/Indians canidate at this point would be Miguel Cabrera/Asdrual Cabrera
Yankees canidate at this point would be Curtis Granderson
Red Sox canidate at this point would be Adrian Gonzalez

Now do you agree at those 4 names?

At this point I say Miggy Cabrera because he's doing the most with the least, and thats how it seems the award is voted on. I know you'll say bias, but I actually believed in 07/08 (dont remember the year, but Jeter finished 2nd in the voting) that Jeter should've won the award, he didnt though. I'd say Grandy would be 2nd, Gonzo 3rd, Beltre 4th.

If the Indians make it and the Tigers dont, I'd say Asdrubal would get it.

I'm not knocking any of the players here, but the award generally goes to the guy who does the most with the least unless someones stats are CLEARLY better. Of these 4 guys I listed, I don't see one person doing MUCH better than the others.

Now I realise I probably wasted my time and you'll just say i'm wrong and discredit it, but I give players credit, its simply my opinion if the Tigers win the division, Miggy will be the MVP, because the only way they get in is if he puts up monster numbers

All i'm saying is I watch Miggy night in, and night out, the Tigers win games because of his bat. He bring so much to the team that people who dont watch the team wouldnt see.

yah not to bad my POPS usually goes through the cards for me and says hey heres what yah got and says i like these and i say keep em just let me know the majority of what we got to make back what i spent and he does but i just got 75 and 76 baseball almost complete bout 30 cards from each set thats hes holding onto and some hanks and yazs and stuff like that so its not all that bad
