Overall, yes, I think I said that yesterday (might've said it on twitter, though)

By the time its September I believe it'll be much better though. And if they were to make the postseason, the #4/#5 guys in the rotation become irrelevant pretty much.

...and I'm placing in front of you a legit argument as to why Kershaw is still better than Verlander.

Verlander has 4 CGs and 2 CG shutouts this year, including a no-hitter and 2 hitter, that > 1 CG shutout, correct?

Sounds ok to me, and yes Kershaw was great and especially the fact he shut them out, its something hard to do against this offense, but,Verlander still > Kershaw

Just my 2 cents, and then I'm out of this. At this time, without a doubt, Verlander is the best STARTING pitcher in baseball.
