I would like to admit the obvious that if the Tigers dont

A) fix their starting pitchers from being so bad overall

or

B) trade for a good arm or two

then they have no chance to make the playoffs, at all.

wow....the Central Divisions, from both the American League and the National League, could actually have teams in the playoffs with records of "just a hair above 500.."

I know it's early, but....could this be the year that Major League Baseball pulls a football blooper and have a team make the playoffs with a losing record?

With that lineup 80 games would be awesome. It will keep them around 2nd place. As weak as the central with Chicago not looking hot maybe it has become the NL West

Al Central is the 2nd toughest division in baseball.. AL East is king..

not debating the toughness? That means nothing to anyone.. However if you went by last year every year heading into the season might as well close up shop and head to the postseason. Twins will not sniff 94 games this year. Things changes hence my point.

I'm with wheeler here kinda..While the Central is tough, its not that great overall..Royals will be the Royals, Twins are already in panic mode, Indians will fade eventually, and it'll be down to Detroit & Chicago..

With that being said, 80 wins wont get you second place, don't be silly..Central will still have a 90 win team..
