His ERA in 12 starts vs the AL is 4.10 or something like that, sorry but not good enough for me to risk the only 2 real big prospects left on the farm. Now if its midlevel prospects go for it, but since it won't be, no thank you.

With that said Dombrowski will probably do it, to try and save his job, and setting this team years back in the process.

Stats tell it all, do I think Verlander is gonna finish the season with a 2.1 ERA? Not at all, but he'll finish strong, and put the team on his back like he's done the last 2 months.

I wasn't talking about the O's. The O's have nothing to do with the discussion y'all had going on, so don't get that into this. In my opinion, Verlander is the BEST starting pitcher out there right now. And if I was putting a team together I'd definitely try to get him as my #1 ACE. We may talk about the "Birds/O's some other time. Have a good evening.

I forgot, but I thank Mike Valenti on 971theticket for reminding us Spartans fans, GroundSupport was bringing up needing trick plays/comeback wins to get a victory....pure hypocritcy, when Michigan did it at Minnesota for example, it was a "great comeback victory" state does it and its lucky..
