I never disliked him, I worry about him slumping again..For a manager that lives and dies by statistics and probability, he sure ignores this when setting his lineup up. Should be no suprise the Tigers won more games with Boesch hitting 3rd...oh well, glad Leyland got his contract extension!

[wheeler281]

love me some Boesch glad you came around btw

[gladdyontherise]

yeah ok dreamer lol

This theory is really true lol

Look at Boesch's stats in front of Cabrera vs hitting 2nd

Hitting 2nd
119 ABs 4 HR 12 RBI .204 BA .269 OBP .345 SLG

Hitting 3rd
186 ABs 11 HR 32 RBI .339 BA .379 OBP .575 SLG

Call it luck? Maybe, but the drastic difference between hitting in front of Ordonez vs hitting in front of Cabrera is pretty telling and I think Delmon (or anyone who can still hit at all) would benefit from hitting in front of Cabrera.

[wheeler281]

yeah ok dreamer lol

[gladdyontherise]

please with the whole Delmon Young to be fair crap..

If he hits in front of Cabrera, he'll do fine, if you can't be successful hitting in front of Miguel Cabrera (like Ordonez couldn't this season) there is no hope for you.

[wheeler281]

please with the whole Delmon Young to be fair crap..

[gladdyontherise]

your gm disagrees

A competent GM would be nice as well

[wheeler281]

If the Tigers could just have a competent manager, they would be 6 games up in the central

your gm disagrees

[gladdyontherise]

I dont see how Delmon Young is going to help the Tigers... He is another guy who can't hit...

To be fair

A) He's better than Ordonez
B) He's a career .290 hitter
C) He's a better defender than Ordonez
D) Did I mention he's better than Ordonez?

You also said Verlander is overrated though...so, yea.

[gladdyontherise]

if the yankees could just be .500 against the sox they would be 6 games up in the east

If the Tigers could just have a competent manager, they would be 6 games up in the central

[gladdyontherise]

no just clowning about the hotfoot he pulled etc..

best baseball show on tv is intentional talk 5-6 on mlb network.. Just a good good time

probably was a good 5 minute interview they get the guys to sometimes flex, dance etc

Oh yea, that was pretty funny. Took Don Kelly forever to notice that
