Yep, we all know pitchers intentionally hit guys in the first inning just because a base is open.

He threw behind him after they hit 2 guys last night, yea, I think it was...and I hope Scherzer or someone on the Tigers hits Santana tonight now

          LMAO...like I said.

          GLADDY LOGIC FTW

Only you would hope a key pitcher for your playoff run hits someone intentionally in a meaningless game. What happens when he misses high and hits someone in the head and risks getting a suspension? Still hope he does that? Good call.

Uhm...who in the world says he'd hit him in the head? Thats stupid and dangerous. Hit him in the back, or just throw behind him without hitting him...You hit 3 of our guys, someone needs to hit an Indians player..Heck bring Brad Penny in out of the bullpen just to hit someone, he won't be on the postseason roster or team next year anyhow

Can you read? I said "what happens when he misses high".

So aside from your horrible logic, your reading comprehension is also awful.

                Why would he miss?

Wow. Seriously. Are you really THIS stupid?

I guess Scherzer's SO good that he can control every pitch he ever throws with pinpoint accuracy? He never misses a target?

                  Gotcha.

I'd bet everything I own he wouldnt hit him in the head. Your ignorant to assume he's gonna miss, his command looks good today to me.........

Seriously...you can't grasp the point I'm trying to make?

Why would you WANT a key pitcher in your playoff rotation to even risk it in the first place by hitting someone?

Jesus. It's like I'm talking to a 3 year old. You can't have the cookies no matter how many times you ask.

According to you, he's awful anyway, so who cares if he's gone, right?

I don't care. Why would I care? YOU should care though, considering your pitching rotation is awful and you need all the help you can get. But if you want some scrub to risk his playoff status for a few games by attempting to hit someone, more power to you. I'll laugh just as much whether it's Porcello or Scherzer getting rocked in the playoffs.

Oh, BTW, according to you he's good. As evidenced by the bet you made with me about him.

I'm still waiting for my money.

The rotation isn't awful, actually. I'll take 2 pitchers in the top 4 in ERA this season, good by me.

You'll get it when I am good and ready.

If St. Louis doesn't choke tonight (and Philly for that matter) they'll be in a tie tommorow for the wildcard!

The Angels traded Napoli and Juan Rivera for Vernon Wells. Napoli was arbitration eligible and wanted $10 million a year I think. I could care less about Rivera, but we could have used Napoli.
