Can I ask you guys a question? Actually another few...

Do people just totally hate the Patriots?
Why is it that every argument on other sites always rolls to the Patriots and Spygate?

Is it just me as a Pats fan doesn't get it? I mean, weren't the Pats justly punished, and therefore things are okay with the league? And is Spygate really something you would ever compare to a murderer going to and getting out of jail? Or am I just misunderstanding something?

It is funny, because I try to be well versed in my posts, and try to provide realistic points and arguments, but I see where some other site may be looking for a way to get me BANNED.

IMO I think the whole spygate deal trumps all of what the saints did but they got a slap on the wrist. Belichick got zero time off for cheating? That makes no sense. It lead directly to their 3 superbowl wins. Reason being Robert Kraft is a made man in the NFL. GODell was not going to come down hard on a good friend. I think that frustrates people.

However this is how the world works and we all have to live with it. Politics trumps everything. Most of the youngster on the web will learn that soon enough.

This whole bounty speak is nothing new.

The Pats did lose 750K and a 1st round pick. But I can understand why people feel the way they do about them.

But, on that note, I think people vastly miss the point on the bounties. I think the Payton thing is blown way up, and for the actual act of what they did, it was overkill. But, I also understand the punishment is based more off the fact that they pretty rubbed it in the face of Goodell and said, nah we aren't doing anything and they continued to do it, text about it, send emails about it, and lie about it.

At least Belichick fessed up and said, yep we did it. Give us our punishment. And they took the punishment, and moved on. Just seems Pats-haters don't have that facet in their personality.
