The new trailer is now up for Activision's Transformers: War for Cybertron for PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii. The game is scheduled to release sometime this year, no official date has been announced.
Peter Cullen is back and voicing Optimus Prime. You can choose to play as either the Autobots or Decepticons in different storylines for each side. Character models will be based more on the Generation 1 cartoons, which is a good sign already. So far 10 Transformers are confirmed for the game. Confirmed Autobots are Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Iron Hide, Ratchet, and Omega Supreme. Confirmed Decepticons are Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Thundercracker, and Trypticon.
I am very excited about this game and the trailer looks awesome. Past Transformers videogames have never been that good, but this one looks like it could be the one fans have been waiting for. IGN has called this game to be the Batman: Arkham Asylum of 2010.
