  • Best way to ship a card after the January 27th USPS shipping changes?

    Hello

I'm relatively new to shipping cards, yet I've been shipping other items on ebay steadily for the past six months. Today I went to USPS to ship out roughly five cards and other items and was given the crispy realization of shipping changes in charges and the riddance of parcel post.

My intent was to ship the cards first class with confirmation like I always do, but with new fees bare minimum charge is $3 and I couldn't afford to ship the lower value cards at that price. Therefore I shipped without confirmation and contacted my buyers to let them know. This is about a 90-95 % finger crossed method and yet is cheap, it is not 100% reliable and now I can only wait....

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks hello..good..buy

I ship 5 cards in top loaders and put it in a padded envelope. It usually is about $1.30 to $1.70 or so to send it as a first class large envelope. Then add $.75 or whatever it is for DC. I use the APC at the post office.

Paypal shipping you get free DC and 1-3 ounces is only about $1.70

USPS, you can mail via first class, priority mail etc. It's much cheaper, though.

Thanks Dan. Do you collect yourself (anything in particular)?
