20th Century Fox To Re-Release Avatar The Extended Cut

20th Century Fox might re-release Avatar The Extended Cut in movie theatres this summer with an additional 10-12 minutes worth of new footage. Isnt this what DVD releases are for. I think Fox was not thrilled that Alice In Wonderland beat them for best opening weekend for a 3D movie. Re-releasing this movie in the theatres this summer will mean that a DVD release will also be pushed back a few months.
