    The schedule for the St. Louis Blues and Los Angeles Kings has finally been released.

    Game 1

    Kings at St. Louis (Saturday, April 28)

    Kings playoff games on the radio will be heard on flagship station KTLK AM 1150 and along the Kings Radio Network with Nick Nickson and Daryl Evans. There will also be special postseason editions of the Kings Talk call-in show after select games, including Game 1 on Saturday from St. Louis.


    In addition, FS West will air special editions of the Kings Live post-game show after select second round playoff games with Bob Miller and Jim Fox reporting.


    LAKings.com will also continue playoff coverage with daily reports and videos from LAKingsInsider.com’s Rich Hammond and Kings Vision. To be added to the Kings Vision video distribution email list, please contact a member of the Kings communications department.


    The Kings traveled to St. Louis today and will practice at Scottrade Center tomorrow, Friday, at 11 a.m. (CT). Media availability will be upon completion of each skate. To be added to the Kings’ daily playoff practice distribution email list, please contact a member of our department.



    The Kings have faced the Blues in a playoff series on two occasions. The met in the 1969 semifinals (Blues won series, 4-0) and the 1998 quarterfinals (Blues won series, 4-0).


    Here is a breakdown of the season series between the Kings and Blues in 2011-12 (the Kings won three of the four contests): October 18 at STAPLES Center: Kings 5, Blues 0; November 22 at St. Louis: Kings 3, Blues 2; February 3 at St. Louis: Blues 1, Kings 0; and March 22 at STAPLES Center: Kings 1, Blues 0 (shootout).


    Fans can guarantee their tickets to every Kings home game in Round 2 and beyond by placing a deposit on a half season or full season ticket package for the 2012-13 season. The first opportunity for the general public to buy single-game playoff tickets for second round playoff action at STAPLES Center begins on Friday, April 27, at 10 a.m.
