    POLL: Kenseth a "True" Contender?

    Matt Kenseth won the Sprint Cup Championship in 2003.

    While Kenseth continues to make the Cup Chase, he really hasn't been much of a threat for the Championship.

    This year Kenseth has two wins (Texas and Dover) and is currently sixth in points.

    Is Matt Kenseth a TRUE contender this year or will he fade away and make the Cup Chase, NOT by points, but by his number of wins?

    Voted no, until he shows me he can be successful under the chase format, I can't believe that he will be.

      Nope....his Dover win was a fluke anyways. Kenseth is an under the radar guy, but he can't hang with JJ/Edwards/Kyle/Harvick for 10 weeks straight come Chase time.
