Iredell County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Chris Stone, a member of the Aggressive Criminal Enforcement (ACE) team, stopped a yellow Lexus sports car after he clocked it doing 128 mph in a 45 mph zone on Perth Road near Judas Road, between Troutman and Mooresville.

oh no.....and here is something that NASCAR.com is reporting:

According to laws in North Carolina, reckless driving is a misdemeanor that requires a mandatory court appearance. A conviction can bring the loss of up to four points on a driver's license, suspension of a license for up to 12 months, and fines of up to $1,000.

oh oh....NO License? Guess who would be parked the rest of the season.

Remember a couple years ago.....out in Vegas......Kurt Busch was stopped.....drunk driving.. speeding.....reckless driving....the list went on and on.....and they ended up making him an Honorary Sheriff.

Uhh....you only need a NASCAR license to race in NASCAR. Even if he had his regular license suspended, he'd still be able to race.

A valid driver's license is NOT a requirement to compete in NASCAR. Competitors must have a valid NASCAR license.(ThatsRacin)(6-2-2004)

Which amazes me. That's like saying I don't have a pilots license, but as long as I fly around an airport, it's okay for me to fly a plane.
