Can't wait for the boys to get here on the 12th. Also will be the day after my 40th Birthday so maybe Happy can have a great showing at Long Pond while I am there lol... What a great year so far
Post race interview with Dale Jr was one of the most HONEST interviews I have ever seen a driver give.
Dale Jr. made the comment that if he had won it "would have been a gift". He said he had a Top Ten car. No crying about losing the race or running out of gas. Almost makes me want to start cheering for the guy.
He rolled the dice and it almost paid off (and yes John, the wife and I were praying for him to run out of gas...lol)
Anyways, highly disappointed that on the restart we have several cars wreck and NASCAR DID NOT throw the caution...it was NASCAR's way of saying "Dale.. we WANT you to win this one...".
NOT Dale Jr's fault....NASCAR will take some heat for this.

I actually do not see Nascar taking any heat.. They were praised by all the announcers and post race guys for not pulling hte trigger too fast which they always seem to do..
edit I did think that for a second though myself til I heard the reactions. I wonder if Kyle or Kevin were in the same spot if they would have been so slow with the trigger.
watched inside nascar last night... It was awesome. Biffle freaking right out like I have never seen lol..( I would too if my cool box was busted and my face had 230 degree heat blowing on it)
Happy conserving fuel with the drop of the green with 50 to go. He said he saw they guys upfront going all out and he dropped 1 second back on purpose.
Junebug being told he would run out with 1 lap to go. So he knew it was coming he was hoping to jump out far enough..
His last words before he ran out " I am nervous"
Love all the broadcasting of the headset talk with no editing out of the "real talk"
