ESPN2 Reporting...Busch/Childress

at 9:30 this morning both Busch and Childress arrived at the truck and were told to report to the Big Red Truck.

At 8:00 this morning Joe Gibbs asked for a meeting with NASCAR and was granted it....he's still in the Big Red Truck.

The only statement NASCAR has made is they are investigating allegations of a confrontation.

It's a no win situation for Kyle. If he retaliates he gets slapped for beating up an old man, if he lets Childress hit him then he looks like a whimp. And while there were "witnesses" the only thing they all seem to agree on is: Kyle was by himself and Childress showed up with Dillon. Hmmmm....a possible two on one.....okay haters show your love.

By-the-way....Kyle had NO sunglasses on...and NO sign of a black eye.

Heading off to church in about a half-hour. Hoping this story comes to a closure before I leave!

UPDATE:

Meeting lasted five minutes.

First one out: Busch "No Comment"

Second: Childress "No Comment"

Last: Joe Gibbs "No Comment, but I will have a statement later today"

Both Busch and Childress looked unhappy as they exited the trailer...this could be very interesting.

The ESPN2 Reporter made the comment that Kyle was not wearing sunglasses, maybe to show how hard or NOT how hard Childress hit him?

Way to go ESPN2.....you guys just can't report a story without trying to stir the pot.

From what Helton said (that I saw) it makes me think something did happen because he said "Busch didnt do anything on the track to violate his probation"

I understand the board of governers of NASCAR will meet tomorrow to determine what to do about Childress.

NASCARs Announcement:
