Harvick and Busch Warned During Pocono

LONG POND, Pa. -- All NASCAR had to see was Kevin Harvick shoving Kyle Busch down the frontstretch early in Sunday's race.

Close to each other from the outset, the drivers had raced each other hard, with Harvick repeatedly crowding Busch as they battled for position. But the last straw was the push down the frontstretch, when Busch broke out of line, and Harvick followed him to the inside, glued to the bumper of Busch's No. 18 Toyota.

NASCAR warned both teams to stop fooling around and race, a warning that shouldn't have been necessary, given that both drivers are on probation through June 15 for a post-race confrontation May 7 at Darlington.

Way-to-go NASCAR.....if the guy is on probation and is breaking the rules of the probation park his butt!

I like Harvick....LOVE his attitude.....but let's be fair with ALL the rules.

...and you are the first one to cry foul on Kyle.

BOTH drivers were told NOT to instigate. NASCAR found Harvick to be instigating by bumping (oh wait...you only count bumping with it's the trucks, right?).

Sorry....if it had been the other way around, NASCAR would have slapped Kyle.

The only good thing about this is that NASCAR is now being a little more easy going with Kevin.

Instigating on the track isn't part of their probation...it was told to them AFTER the incident. lol

And bump drafting down the longest frontstretch in all of NASCAR is hardly 'instigating' anything, considering every driver in the race yesterday did it at some point.


FYI: Door slamming a truck AFTER the race and bumpdrafting DURING a race is a little different.

He knows he has one coming... just saying. Busch loves to dish it out on the kids in Nationwide but runs with his skirt on when he challenges the big boys. Right now he has become the Lebron of Nascar

yup was there last Sunday Made sure to get right up to the fence during driver intros to tell Kyle he was #1 with one of my fingers that is not my index finger.. He does run/drive away after being a hothead behind the wheel. History speaks for itself

but....after the Childress incident, both Childress and Gibbs have been warned to keep the boys under their thumbs.

HOWEVER............I do expect to see some heavy bumping and drafting, maybe an accidental spin or two....lol...gonna be a great race weekend!
