Edwards to Gibbs?

Gibbs courting Edwards? am hearing that Carl Edwards, currently the driver of the #99 Roush Fenway Racing Ford, is being courted by Joe Gibbs Racing to take over the #20 Home Depot Toyota ride. Where would that leave current #20 driver, Joey Logano, to the long rumored 4th Joe Gibbs car, no word on who would be the sponsor, if it happens.

If it happens, Gibbs is gonna have a nasty driver lineup. Edwards/Hamlin/Busch/Logano is no joke.

I'll still take Johnson/Gordon/Kahne/Jr, but that's just me.

Question then becomes who takes over that excellent 99 ride? Bayne? Stenhouse? Mark Martin?

If the rumor is true and Edwards was to go to Gibbs Racing, that means Logano is out. Gibbs has always said he would only field three cards in the Sprint Cup Series.

...and can you imagine? Mark Martin in the 99? maybe for a year....I can see Bayne jumping in that seat....maybe Stenhouse.

No way Gibbs lets Logano go. IF they bring in Carl (which I don't really see happening), Gibbs will move to four cars.

True.....but don't forget....Hamlin and Busch have had a few run-ins as well.

I think Edwards would be a perfect fit.
