  • Tiger Woods Voted AP Top Athlete of the Decade

    Tiger Woods was voted Top Athlete of the Decade by members of The Associated Press.

    Woods received 56 of the 142 votes. Lance Armstrong finished second with 33 votes. Roger Federer was third with with 25 votes. Michael Phelps came in fourth with 13 votes, Tom Brady was fifth with 6 votes. Usain Bolt got 4 votes. Five other athletes received 1 vote apiece.

    yeah i saw this. i thought he deserved it. no one else was really that good in there sport as he has been this decade in golf.

        im surprised that many people got that many votes besides Tiger. irrespective of his recent transgressions (which probably clouded some voters) he is by far the most dominant athlete in his sport since, possibly, Babe Ruth or Michael Jordan...
