WWE Tag Team Championship Changes Hands At House Show

I cant remember that last time a title has changed hands at a house show. I think for WWE it was over 12 years ago and it was a fluke victory because one of the wrestlers got seriously hurt and the match needed to end. And I believe a TNA title changed hands at a house show about 5 years ago. This is not good news for Kofi and Bourne. One of them (likely Bourne) will probably be getting a pink slip soon since he has some people in upper management that are not happy with him.

It is being reported that new WWE Tag Team Champions were crowned during a house show event in Oakland, California. Primo and Epico defeated the former champions Air Boom, Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston. WWE house shows are events that take place in a local market and are not televised. It is very rare for titles to change hands at house shows.
