UFC 143 Results - Condit Wins Interim Title, Diaz Retires

The main event of UFC 143 saw Carlos Condit beat Nick Diaz for the UFC Interim Welterweight Championship. Condit will now face Georges St. Pierre when he comes back from injury at the end of the year. Nick Diaz was so pissed off at the decision that he retired after the fight. The co-main event saw former Strikeforce fighter Fabricio Werdum make his UFC return and beat Roy Nelson. Nelson has lost 3 of his last 4 fights and is in danger of being cut from the organization, especially since Dana White does not like him.
