Tony Stewart dominated yet again, winning his 2nd race of the season in a rain-shortened event at Fontana, California. Kyle Busch finished second, Dale Jr third, Kevin Harvick fourth, and Carl Edwards fifth.

Jimmie Johnson's engine started to blow up as the rains came, and he lucked into a 10th place finish as the engine held on just long enough for the red flag to come out.
Greg Biffle finished 6th and held onto the points lead.
