This was one of the coolest nights to watch wrestling way back then. Vince McMahon bought WCW and both Raw and Nitro that night was broadcasted as a simulcast. This ended the Monday Night Wars. Vince McMahon basically fired Jeff Jarrett and Dustin Rhodes on television. Considering WWF eventually brought in Eric Bischoff, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Ric Flair, Scott Steiner, and Bill Goldberg in subsequent years, they should have brought them in at the beginning of the Invasion angle. That would have been the greatest thing wrestling ever seen. Sadly that never happened.
