Not surprising since he hasnt really wrestled in almost two years. He will follow Alberto Del Rio and join AAA in Mexico.
We noted earlier that Rey Mysterio's WWE deal expired and was not renewed, which is why he's now officially gone from the company. Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that there was an agreement in place between WWE and Rey from late November or early December where WWE would release him from his contract at the end of February.
