  • UFC 112 Results - Silva Retains Title

    http://sports.espn.go.com/extra/mma/...ory?id=5073124

I only watched the Silva vs. Maia fight and in the first 3 rounds, Silva was just toying with him. But then it got really boring because they were just moving around not throwing punches or anything. The crowd actually began to chant "Maia, Maia" then switched to "GSP, GSP"... who was ring side.

Well Silva won and retained his title.

The big upset was Frankie Edgar defeating BJ Penn.

    Matt Hughes defeated Renzo Gracie

Rafael Dos Anjos defeated Terry Etim

    Mark Munoz defeated Kendall Grove

Silva disgraced the UFC again tonight. Dana White was pissed off at him and has every right to be. Silva doesnt deserve to fight GSP. It would be fitting if he put him on the undercard.

I cant believe that Penn lost the title.

When did he disgrace UFC the first time?

No way, he's undefeated and needs to fight GSP. He said it won't happen again.

The way he has fought the last three times (not counting the Griffin fight). The fans have booed him, Dana White and other fighters have said he doesnt seem to care or try to fight when he is going against lesser opponents.

For being one of the best MMA fighters in the world, Silva should give it his all no matter who he goes against.

That'e the problem, he's fighting guys that have no shot... personally i would rather see him just fight the best and move up.

I would love to see him against GSP or even BJ Penn if they moved up or he moved down weight classes. But what Dana White said about he doesnt deserve to fight GSP and even putting him on the prelims looks even worse for the organization. If Silva fought GSP, I think the fought would be amazing and Silva would have a different showing in the match compared to what he did tonight.

Doesn't this remind you of the school yard back-in-the-day?

The bully fighting the little guy.

Of course...for those of us that can remember way-back-when.....Ali.....remember how he use to play with his opponents?

But again....is there anyone in Silva's weight division that can actually give him a challenge?

Do you ever say anything positive? How is it the worse because of one fight? Frankie Edgar upset BJ Penn and the other fights were pretty good from what i saw on replay.
