Football Card Positional Draft - COMPLETED!

We're running a football card certified autograph/gu positional draft. Interested U.S. members can pm me for my address and include $4 for postage. Non-U.S. residents need to check with me for postage rates.

Rules:

1. A total of 10 autographs/gu must be submitted. One per position is required for the following positions: Quarterback, Running Back, Wide Receiver, Tight End, Offensive Lineman/Defensive Lineman, Linebacker/Defensive Back, Special Teams and 3 random position.

2. The names of participants will be randomized and we will have a snake draft.

3. Each member must select 1 card from each of the required positions, with no more or less.

4. I will be unavailable from 7/4 - 7/14, so any questions should be directed to schwood.

5. A card from the random list can only fill in a random selection slot. So, if you select a card of a QB from that list, it CAN NOT be used to fulfill your QB selection. It can only be used as a random card selection slot. These can be chosen at anytime as if they were just another selection slot.

6. A limit of 2 Press Pass and Sage and 1 manufactured patch will be enforced. You are not required to submit any, though.

7. Send me a list of cards that you plan to submit.

8. We will be using a 12 hour time limit to make selections.

so does special teams consist of only Kicker/Punter or also pr/kr?

I'll play, I assume Special Teams players can also play other positions. Like:Josh Cribbs, Dez Bryant, Deion Sanders? Not saying I would send either of the latter 2.. lol

Special Teams can be pk, pr, kr or any player who regularly plays on the coverage teams.

Agreed. Even someone like a Matthew Slater from the Pats who is a WR but plays mostly special teams can be in there. Or a guy like Kelley Washington. Pretty much anyone who had played some amount of special teams. I am guessing even like Tebow could with him having played some in NY.

I want to do this...but are we dishing out scrub auto's and gu or mid level...so I know what to dig for

Mostly lower end stuff. I think. When we did the baseball one, the cards had to have a BV of 5 bucks. But, with that said, we said no minor league or USA cards. So, I assume that no Press Pass, HIT, or SAGE cards. And what we did in baseball was allow one Manufactured Patch card per entry. Not sure if this is what Chris was envisioning, but I would assume this is a pretty good place to start.

As many as we can get. No real deadline. But I can tell you we ran one of these in baseball with 5 people, and it was awesome. More would definitely be better, but as many as we can get. Even with what we have now, I think we could run one pretty well.

I am interested in this as well but I don't have these positions: OL, DL, and DB. I will see if I can find some. Thanks

How are people with the positions? I have noticed that OL was kind of hard to find. Maybe I can talk with Chris, and we could combine some. So, we could say, set up 10 total positions, and in each slot, we could maybe have two options to use in there potentially? I will talk to Chris about this and see what he thinks.

I might be able to help some out with a couple of the positions potentially. Let's take a little time and try and round up all we can. I know Chris is going till the 14th starting Thursday, so probably won't get this thing rolling until after that.

No SAGE/HIT cards? Those were gonna be two of my entries. Let me know either way. I'll look for some replacements.
