  • Thanks, Jerry, I've got a box for all my autos and graded, but the graded cards are gonna need their own box pretty soon.

      • I organize my Pujols by year. I originally had a shoebox for each year but when I got graded cards, they wouldn't fit, so I had to replace a lot of shoeboxes with graded shoeboxes. I'm so OCD, it wasn't good enough to have them organized by year, they also needed to be in alphabetical order, have their own scan able QR code, so I ended up replacing a lot more boxes. My wife really wants me to get all Pujols scanned but its just too much work and I would need 30 free Photobuckets cause I'm too cheap to buy 10 upgraded versions.

        • Thanks Todd, I'm seriously concerned, some of the BGS slabs are big enough as is. Did you see that 2013 A & G Cruz Name Plate that Brent from Brent and Becca's pulled?

          • Lol, Jerry, that's pretty organized. It's funny how my collection is about the only well-organized piece of my life.

            • I avoid graded cards unless they're RC's now. Tell Brent I sent you and maybe he'll give you a deal.

              • I try to, but lately I've run into a few cards that I can't find otherwise without paying more than I want to. Like that 2012 Wood Montero. I mean really, having that card graded didn't help it at auction, I guess some collectors can afford to grade everything they have. Maybe the wood finish would have faired poorly? Idk, just seemed like overkill for a 1/1.

                • Oh, and the Cruz was sold today for $500, but it's still an incredible card to look at.

I really dont know what it accomplishes having a 1/1 graded. Two hundred milleniums from now, there's still only going to be 1 of that card to chase. I think some sellers must have a deal with PSA or Beckett. Ive heard that BGGS(Becketts lower tier grading) actually brings a card's value down. I just have 1. It seems like those are always the cards that turn up in those retail value boxes.

Probably Google it and find the ebay link for the closed auction would be the way I'd do it.
