Speaking of waiting, my two boxes of 2013 Topps Minis finally shipped wednesday. That's great considering I ordered them at 7am last Friday. I won't see them until Tuesday. Ridiculous, Topps, ridiculous. On a positive note, I WAS able to use the first time order 20% off code for this purchase, before they got sly and changed policy later in the day. Suck it, Topps.

I tried ordering a 25 card World Series set from topps.com a couple years ago, they wanted $12.50 for shipping/handling! Idiots! The set would fit in a small bubble mailer-$3 at the most, but a small priority flat rate box was only $5.15 and that would have been overkill. There's plenty for Topps to get money from the collector without gouging on shipping.

Lol, and that, my friend, is why I chose FedEx Ground for this order when I was given the option. I got free shipping and 20% off. Payed 84 and some change for two boxes. So while I'm not happy about the wait, I feel like I gave them considerably less money on that deal than I had to. I still gave them money though, and when I think about how much I've given them, this doesn't come any where close to making a dent, but I'll take a small 'w' nonetheless.

Huh. Stuff like this makes me hate eBay because you know that several sellers will list this stuff with incorrect descriptors. I wonder how many decent Monteros I've missed out on due to bad descriptors.

Yeah me too. I tweeted Tracy Hackler but haven't gotten a response yet. I hate when its obvious that someone that doesn't follow sports but comes across some cards, wants to sell them, and lists it as a Jose Pujols card. While its true that his name is Jose, he doesn't go by that name. Or when they list a card as an Angels RC. Morons! Don't even get me started about how any serial #'d card that is #1/xx is a true 1/1. Like that card was really printed first!
