    • I have no idea what this card really is. It's supposed to be a 2013 National Convention Cracked Ice /25 but it's numbered the same as the 2012 Panini Prizm #8 and there's no serial #. Any ideas?

        *Update*

This card is from the 2013 Panini Father's Day Prism Cracked Ice. It's not serial #'d but there are only 25 copies.

                • For today, my winnings thus far from The Million Dollar Chase, the Fergie is numbered to 300, I broke some more discounted 2010 Bowman Draft and pulled my first retail redemption and another orange refractor RC, and last but not least, a new Dominguez Auto/Montero Platinum that I needed via my good friend Jerry, and a 2011 Pro Debut Montero from a trade at SCF:

                  • Awesome cards Matt! The Fergie is nice, just too bad he pitched for the Cubs! Lol

                    • Speaking of too bad, it's also too bad that the three Stanton RC's I pulled were all paper, lol. Got another chrome Strasburg RC, but like most of the ones I've pulled, it's way off center. The Posey Chrome RC I pulled though is about the most centered Chrome Card I've pulled from the 2010 stuff. It's hard to pass on because my WalMart brings them in by the stacks and marks them at 2.98 a rack pack. Normally that's a no brainer, but sadly most of these have been put through the ringer so at least 10-20 per cent of the cards I pull are damaged. But it's a risk I don't mind taking as the Chromes/Refractors don't damage easy compared to the paper cards, so while most of those stupid thick gold cards are creased from heavy handed pack searchers (i'm guessing, but I bet my guess is spot on), the chrome stuff typically is in great condition.

                      • It seems like most of the cards I buy retail are damaged. The cards are crammed into plastic totes, the less totes the better, the end result doesn't matter to the vendor. After all, they're just stupid kids stuff, they won't complain. But, if by luck they aren't damaged by the vendor during shipping or the stocker, there are those evil spawns of Satan, known as, cashiers. Countless times, they scan, then throw or drop them into the bag. That thud sound is the sound of death to a collector. And they keep that same stupid smirk on their face the whole time. In case you can't tell, I hate cashiers. I made it a point to terminate 1 or 2 every time I visited one of my stores. The only thing worse than a cashier is a boot licking store manager that tells you what you want to hear rather than what is needed. But anyways....I hate pack searchers too. Don't get me wrong, everyone picks up a pack and thinks, " hey that pack weighs more", buys it, only to realize it has an extra card with a security tag. But I hate the guys who go to extreme measures just to screw the little guy for a few bucks on ebay. Those morons should be driven to the desert and dumped in a 6 feet deep hole!

                        • Yeah, that's why I avoided rack packs at WalMart, but a few months ago we got Self Check Out and I've been using it exclusively.
