Austin Jackson, Jonathan Lucroy, Doug Fister, Pablo Sandoval, and Drew Storen currently on the DL, and Tulowitzki may be DL bound, yet 2nd place.

Got Carlos Marmol off waivers and tossed Justin Morneau. Marmol just got his closer job back. With Brandon League no longer the closer for now, need that 3rd closer on my team. Scott Downs is a part time closer.

My team fell badly in the rankings due to injuries - Matt Kemp, Ryan Howard, Lance Berkman, Shaun Marcum, and Ryan Dempster.

Good news is Ryan Howard came off the DL today. Dempster on Sunday. Kemp next week. And Berkman in 2 weeks time.

Waived Brandon League.

Dempster is back. Kemp came back yesterday. Berkman comes back today from the DL. I waived Scott Downs.

Now my pitching is the problem. I cant get wins and dont really have a third reliable closer. Brandon League is no longer the closer. Carlos Marmol is incosistent. And after 3 months of doing well, Scott Downs got killed last night and got the lost. And Cliff Lee cant win any games.

Got Josh Beckett off waivers and dumped Roy Oswalt. Also got Carlos Santana off waivers and tossed J.J. Hardy.

Best thing was that I didnt have to lose my #3 waiver wire spot, both players cleared waivers.

Thanks Gladdy. You picked up two players early this morning, and none of them were my guys. LOL!

Waived K-Rod. Ugh that was a horrible last few games. Good thing he was on my bench for the last two appearances. Should have kept Carlos Santana instead. Thanks a lot Gladdy. LOL!
