From reading all the reports, it looks like David Stern vetoed the new trade submitted today. So the Lakers pulled out.
Good thing is this probably means they will keep Pau which is good news. I have this wierd feeling that either Baron Davis or Chauncey Billups will be the Lakers new starting point guard next season. I dont think anyone will claim either of them/bid on them, so they will both be free to sign with whoever.
