I'm extremely impressed by Phil Coke, started off real nervous, but settled in and was really really good. Assuming Weinhart gets the final out of the 7th. Coke will have given up 2 runs in 6.2 innings, with 7 strikeouts

Its unfortunate that the umps are changing the game though. Will Rhymes wasn't out, Pena never had control of the ball. Not to mention the strike zone's are different between pitchers.

This kid cracks me up. Always making excuses for why the Tigers lose.

Rhymes never touched home plate, so your argument is 100% irrelevant as to whether Pena had control of the ball or not.

it was 100% obvious he did touch the plate and its 100% obvious Pena never had control..I'm not saying thats why they are losing, but its 100% the reason the score wasnt 2-1 with Miggy coming up with a runner on 2nd base.

It's 100% obvious he never touched home plate. Turn your homerism off and just handle the fact that Bruce Chen is owning your pathetic last place Tigers.

His feet were sitting on homeplate when Pena showed the ball that he never had control of, if you watch a replay you'd see that.

Saw the replay 20 times, his feet weren't sitting on home plate. If they were, you wouldn't have been able to see dirt between the heel of his cleats and home plate.

Gladdy you do always seem to make an excuses. I have heard you blame the umps at least 3 times this year and it is early
